Oh, he does it on purpose. My best story of what he's like: when his daughter was in our preschool she sometimes stopped in the office to say hi before going home. One time he told her he had a special surprise for her and she got all excited. He opened a drawer and handed her a plastic bag, and she opened it but it was empty. He started laughing, and she just turned around and walked back out to her mom. Then he turned to me and said, "Kids are fun, aren't they?" So yeah. Asshole.

It's really more to the point that all of us feel like we're in a sitcom and we just make fun of him all the time. And everyone has to deal with that kind of thing to a certain extent, but I also get to go skiing and fossil hunting and take road trips and call it work, so it's kind of a trade off.

I will stop now because I could write a book about him. Thanks for the hugs.
