I am offering a painting for auction through help_haiti , a community to provide assistance to the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.  Instructions on how to bid are in the community profile page.

A one-of-a-kind 8 inch by 10 inch painting
-Acrylic paint on canvas
-Picture of the city of Atlantis from the TV show Stargate Atlantis
-The sides of the canvas are painted as it is designed to be hung without a frame. There is a hanging wire in the back so that you can place it on a nail in the wall.

I know a lot of people have done stuff with this community already. If you haven't, I encourage you to go check out the stuff that's up for auction, or to put something up yourself ("new items can be added until 6:00 AM (EST) on January 20, 2010").  Or, pass along this link to someone who may not have seen it! Every little bit helps, and I know it sounds like a cliche but it's really, really true. :-)
