(So the thing I messaged you re: the slash? Is a life balance thing, basically. Still lots of very slashy thoughts in my head (and potential writing) -- and and and I watched H50 1x03 with my husband and he is not so much into slash but I have been telling him about the epic Steve/Dannyness, and he most of the time just thinks the things I point out can have a two-straight-guys interpretation, and a lot of times I do not disagree with him, but while we were watching the episode and Danny says why do I look like a waiter and Steve says "he doesn't know what he's talking about" and my husband made this little "awww" sort of noise of acknowledgement and I asked him about it later and he said the way he as a heterosexual guy would make another guy feel better would be by saying something that is not so obviously meaning "you look great". He said he could not deny the slash in that part and from him this means a great deal about the slashyness of this show!)
ALSO, RE: PICSPAM HAVE YOU SEEN MOONLIGHT I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU LIKE VAMPIRES BUT IT IS HOT AND SORT OF POORLY WRITTEN BUT HOT AND ALSO KIND OF HOT I can send you a link for the shows if you want. This scene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omF_cHzHtZo) was what got me into it and is FANTASTIC but it comes from the third to last ep and is very spoilery as well as the comments so if you know you are going to watch the series (16 eps) probably don't watch that first but if you need convincing watch it watch it!
ALSO YES Steve totally knows John! I like the idea that he knows about the Stargate Program, that's totally cool. I'd thought about him meeting John in "The Stan" but now he totally needs to know about the Stargate Program, and it is past my bedtime as you can tell from the frequency of the word "totally" in this paragraph. So I am totally going to bed now, hahaha.
