Untitled ficlet: John/unnamed male, PG

Summary: During an offworld party, John gets really, really drunk. Or high. Drunk or high - or both.

(Okay, so he's not really sure how he made it here, but what he does know is how good he feels.)


John's floating and it's good, it feels so good, because whoever he's with (strong arms that pulled him away from the bonfire and the dancing and the clouds of spicy-scented smoke, strong shoulder to lean on while they stumbled along toward a tent, hands that pushed him down and took off his boots and started petting him with long smooth strokes down his back and sides) now has fingers in his hair, just the right amount of pressure and the most perfect hint of blunt nails against his scalp, and nobody's held him like this since he was a child and it feels so good to forget everything aside from sensation.
