Happy Valentine's Day from Sydney Bristow
Happy Valentine's Day! To celebrate, I have a manip of a photo of Jennifer Garner as Sydney Bristow in Alias. Sydney is such a strong woman. Yes, she has the physical strength to kick just about anybody's butt, but there's more. She has such an inner strength. It doesn't mean that she isn't affected by the bad things in her life, but it does mean that she fights to try to overcome those things and to live her life in the best way she knows how.
I thought it would be fitting to share this manip today. Valentine's Day can be about couples and romance and flowers, but I feel that it can also be about loving and being good to yourself. So often we engage in negative self-talk and put ourselves down, and today especially can be painful for people who feel they don't fit certain expectations. But my prayer is that today we can celebrate who we are, celebrate life and being strong, and that we can find some unconditional love in our hearts for ourselves.
