So not kidding.

Who wants to co-mod a Flan community with me?

SGA authors come up with some freaking fantastic sentences about Sheppard's hair, and a one-a-day (probably less frequent but still regular) quote thing must be an interesting idea to more people than just me, right?

... Right?

Or, I could be insane.  *cough*

But really, I would be up for it.

AND SPEAKING OF INSANE:

How are Sean Maher and Matthew Bomer not long lost brothers?

ALSO:

What is the difference between a crossover and a fusion? I have a vague idea but am not really sure.

Thanks for the feedback :)

I had been thinking for a while that in a lot of stories I read, there are really funny references to John's hair, and I'd wanted to compile a quote list to be able to re-read them myself. Then I thought, if I'm going to the trouble, why not share? I'd need a co-mod only because I would be likely to not be regular with things - i.e. I could compile quotes in a Google doc or something and the other person could post to the comm. And then we could open it up for picspams or original hair funny ficlets or something too.

BUT. I was thinking about it more as I was falling asleep. And, I am not sure I actually am okay with this idea. At first I just thought of it as comparable to how rec comms/posts use quotes from a story (and I would of course include title/author/link). But then I realized that those posts are including the quotes specifically to direct readers to the stories, whereas I would be using the quotes to create something funny that people could come to my comm to get, by using other people's content.

And I could ask permission, of course, but I think in general that would be a lot of work for probably not as big of a payoff as would be worth it, so unless someone has a great new idea or lots of enthusiasm for this, I'm just going to scrap the concept.

canon/fusion:
That's sort of what my vague idea was... I sort of feel like I'm missing something still, though. And I don't know why.
