Question
Has LJ fixed the problem with malware in their ads?
If the problems haven't been fixed, would they be avoided by disallowing flash?
Also, if you answer this and help me I am obligated to write you a ficlet so leave me your Stargate Atlantis or non-latest season NCIS prompt! Also also if you don't I will answer your prompts anyway.
edit: based on replies and talking to the owner of the computer, I'm going to go with staying on lj and disallowing flash (which I was doing anyway). Prompts still accepted :)

So in this "almost-a-ficlet-but-not-exactly-writing" inspired by our icons, Rodney is on Earth and he starts getting sick, and he puts off going to the voodo doctors, but then he gets sicker and sicker and the SGC doctors bring House to Colorado for a consult. And John is on Earth too because they are vacationing (complete with lots of bickering, first on location and then on pretty much everything else, including going to the doctor) and he's been so worried! And the expression in your icon is the one on House's face when he meets, randomly in the hallways of the SGC, That Guy He Paid For Sex One Time When He Was Drunk Way Back In The Day (i.e. John). And then they have a conversation wherein there is much awkwardness on the part of John and fond mocking on the part of House until John says something completely unrelated to anything, which causes House to have An Idea about Rodney's sickness. House diagnoses Rodney successfuly and Rodney recovers just fine and then there may or may not be a threesome.

Here's a prompt for you:
NCIS, Tony/Gibbs, pre-series, Gibbs realizes he may be in way over his head with his new agent, first time if you go that far. :-)

Thanks for the prompt.. I had a lot of fun with it.
His temporary partner is a whirlwind - quotes and quips and nonstop talking and a rollercoaster of quickly-displayed emotions. It's too exhausting for Gibbs, when he's been sleeping poorly on a cheap motel mattress and too many memories in his head. For all the detective's flippant attitude, he's completely devoted to the case whenever it is required, and Gibbs's gut is telling him that it isn't going to be what gets them their lead.
He'd probably be able to deal with it just fine but for the fact that he's trying to deal with an irrational amount of lust as well. As it is, he's on the edge of snapping; too many sensations to deal with at once and if he doesn't relieve some of the pressure soon he just might do something someone will wind up regretting.
Sure enough, DiNozzo cracks the case, and the perp is shot in a standoff on a Thursday evening. Gibbs is glad the case is done; he's tired of not feeling in control. He won't feel completely himself until he can get back in his basement but once DiNozzo drives him back to the hotel he'll at least be able to breathe.
*****
The car pulls up in front of the motel door; DiNozzo gets out of the car and Gibbs leans over to shake his hand and mutter something vaguely pleasant before retreating. Maybe he'll take a run later, he thinks; the cool night air will do him some good and he definitely won't be able to sleep without -
"You like me."
Gibbs's hand was reaching for the lock on the knob but the detective has already slid into the space between him and the door, fixing him with a cool stare and cocky smile.
"Go home, DiNozzo," he says, and Gibbs expects he'll obey the gently given order, because that's all DiNozzo has ever done with his orders since he's met him.
"You like me," DiNozzo says again. "And I like you, Gibbs."
The tone of his voice is sincere and seductive, his body way too close and his breath on Gibbs's neck a revelation. Maybe....
"Move," Gibbs says, more stern this time, his gut clenching with an indecision he's trained himself to never show.
DiNozzo takes a breath, his eyes flashing. Gibbs can't identify the emotions he sees but something there makes up his mind.
"Well I gotta unlock the door, DiNozzo, before I can invite you in."
And Gibbs decides that he'll do anything he can to forever keep the smile he gets in return.

Not sure if more is gonna be possible, as I just can't decide who throws who against the wall first!! :D

Prompt: I liked the last written gift you wrote me down, so: Lorne/Sheppard, whatever you want.....
no subject
I have a Lorne/Sheppard idea for you that I have been working on - it is a bit slower in coming but I will post as soon as I am done.
